ONE POT CREAMY ALFREDO CHICKEN PASTA

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Mrs. Dash
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 5-ounce cans evaporated milk
  • ½ pound penne pasta
  • 2 cups grated Parmesan Cheese
  • PREPARATION

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the oil and chicken. Cook 5 minutes until it is lightly browned and add the garlic powder and Mrs. Dash.
  • Add the chicken broth, evaporated milk and pasta.
  • Stir, bring to a boil and then reduce heat – watch carefully to prevent boil overs. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until pasta is cooked. Uncover and stir in the cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Serves 4
